Sing it Out: A Challenge to the Fans

Every home football game at Delaware Stadium has the band play the same three songs (plus the other non-sense in there too): The National Anthem, The Fight Song, & The Alma Mater.  I personally like to sing the Star-Spangled Banner as the band plays, and everyone claps for the Fight Song, but no one is taking advantage of the greatest line in the Alma Mater.

This is my challenge to every Blue Hen in attendance at UD Football games this season: when the time comes at the end of the Alma Mater, I want you to scream that last line out with everyone else...
"ALL HAIL TO DELAWARE!!!"
The devoted members of the Cockpit began to scream it at every game starting back in '06, and the rest of the section has finally caught on, but this isn't the time to let it die out.  Everyone in the stadium should be yelling it at the top of their lungs to start every game, create a tradition of letting the opponent know you're there to be loud and rowdy, and assuring them of who is the favorite to win at the Tub.

Forget the "Fear the Bird" shirts, that's just a UMD bootleg phrase (I do own one, but that's not the point), fans should be arriving in shirts with "All Hail To Delaware" across their chests.  So when homecoming rolls around, and the drunks are still in the lot, they should be hearing the deafening roar of the crowd, announcing our presence with authority to all within range!  I challenge you to sing it out loud and make it a tradition you will be proud to be a part of.
