FCS Bracketology - Pt. 2
One week in and there are a few changes to the original bracket. I am gearing up for tons of rage here in future Bracketology reviews. I can tell that this will end up becoming a rant every week and we're only in our second edition here. This has been your fair warning. Proceed with caution anytime you see that header on this blog...

FCS Bracketology - Pt. 1
Last season's FCS Bracketology done by The Sports Network was a hit, because it was an attempt at predicting the finish line, not what the bracket would be if the playoffs began today. Today was Craig Haley's first projection of the season. What follows is the link and analysis of Delaware's current projection.
Delaware Colors Day
I believe this is pretty self-explanatory. This Friday, September 2nd, wear your Blue and Gold. Yes, this is a corporate thing put together by Collegiate Licensing Company so you buy something new to wear on that day just as the semester gets started, but do you ever need an excuse to wear the colors? No. So when you head to work, wear a Blue & Gold tie, a UD lapel pin, shirt, hat, whatever you already have in your closet. It's that simple.

15 Yards for High-Stepping
With the new season about to start, a few new tweaks were added to the NCAA Football Rule Book. One is a rule borrowed from the NFL that involves penalties in the final minute of each half. Teams will now be given the option of including a 10-second runoff with the penalty being assessed, or decline both the penalty and the runoff. I've always loved this rule because a defensive penalty that stops the clock for a team that is down in the game will take time away from any potential comeback. There is no way anyone can complain here, though I feel like it should begin at the two-minute warning so there's a better time boundary in place. However, there are a few new rule tweaks that I have major questions about.
