The Future of Delaware vs. Navy

Let's say you're a football coach.  You practice all summer long to get ready for the season.  Then you see that you have an opponent who runs the triple-option coming up in the first week.  The game offers a great experience for your players, but it requires a specialized gameplan.  You have to take everything you taught your defense so far and throw it out the window in order for them to learn an entirely new scheme, just for one game.  When it's all over, you will have to take your team and restart the original defensive gameplan.  Would you sign up for this "experience" in the future?
On The Side - Commentary from Sideline Reporter Matt Janus

Clearly, this is not what Coach Keeler wants in the future.  Matt Janus shares his great insight here on this topic and why the series between the Hens and the Mids will soon be a thing of the past.  The article is a "must read," in my opinion.  Sums up everything quite nicely for all the reports about the turnaround from playing Navy that have come about this week.  Here is the most important piece of analysis from this article:
Keeler’s best example was Paul Worrilow, who the coach said had not been to a linebacker meeting in weeks.  Now after the Navy loss, Worrilow shifts back to not only linebacker, but middle linebacker, the defensive quarterback.  It is a new position for the Concord graduate, who started on the outside in each of his first two seasons at Delaware.  Instead of seeing what the junior did well, and identifying some areas where he still needs work, the Hens got one week closer to the start of CAA play without helping Worrilow develop into his new role.
Your defensive quarterback is starting from scratch, and it's already week two!  I think that says everything about why this series needs a break until there is a new offensive scheme in place in Annapolis.
