Quick Hits (9/7)

Travel day for me means that it's a quick hits kind of afternoon.  Here are some links to worthy reads so far this week:

  • U. Talk: Hens Fall to 8th - Tresolini talks about Delaware's drop in the rankings and Sasek's status for the upcoming game vs. West Chester.
  • The Review: Keeler Celebrates 10 Years... - Write up on an anniversary season for Coach Keeler.  It talks about the history of the Delaware coach from his days at Amherst to last year's title run, and the future plans for the program.
  • The Review: Hen Quarterbacks Still In Question - The school paper has quotes from the quarterbacks about their circumstance as the West Chester game approaches.
  • U. Talk: ...rather play Pitt than Navy - Who wouldn't?  Keeler is quoted here about how a matchup with Pitt will be less destructive to the defense, as you will not have to completely revamp the style of defense just for that matchup.
  • @kevintresolini - The MRI on Sasek showed "no major structural damage."  Long story short is that Sasek is doubtful for the game vs. WCU.
  • Delaware Online: Worrilow works hard... -  Great read on how Paul Worrilow turned down a scholarship to West Chester to earn one for the Blue Hens.
Most important stuff out of all of this is that Sasek looks doubtful for Saturday, and the chances of Delaware facing Navy beyond 2013 are slim to none unless a new coach comes in a starts running something more traditional.
